CAMCO - Capital Metro Company
The Capital Metro Company (CAMCO) was founded in 2017 through a partnership between the French RATP Dev, renowned for developing, operating, and maintaining transportation systems globally (80%), and the Saudi SAPTCO Public Transport Company, a leading provider of public transportation services in the Kingdom (20%).
CAMCO's primary objective is to manage and upkeep trains, with its inaugural endeavor being the Riyadh Train Project. This project encompasses the operation and maintenance of the first two tracks (blue, spanning 38 km, and red, covering 25.3 km) out of a total of six tracks under the Royal Commission for the City of Riyadh, secured through a 12-year contract.
